This doctoral program is multi-disciplinary in its approach in the study of rural development. Its two major areas are aimed at developing prospective rural development managers, implementers, educators, and researchers who would ably lead in planning, implementing, and evaluating rural development programs in the local, regional, and national levels.

Course Description

RD 801 STATISTICS II (ADVANCED STATISTICAL ANALYSISS)

Application of non-parametric statistical tests for two independent samples, multiple regression analysis, co-variance analysis; application of some multivariate techniques like discriminant analysis in social, behavioral and education researches.

Research methods and techniques for socials services with emphasis on research designs, construction of research tools, and report preparation.

Ethics and value theory of teaching and learning; examination of classical and contemporary philosophies vis a vis education; systematic study of educational aims, content, methods and values, and its manifestation in development education; enhancement of educational leadership and management for promoting cultural consciousness, moral integrity, and knowledge through research; other scholarly activities to uplift and improve human life.
