Master of Science in Rural Development
The Master of Science (MS) in Rural Development trains project planners, implementers, or researchers who could provide expertise in the technology delivery systems and in the social science research component of their agency’s programs. They could undertake scholarly work, conduct socio-economic researches, and carry out barangay action projects. The Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Rural Development, a non-thesis option, produces graduates who could serve the rural families as barangay development specialists. Its main thrust is professionalizing and institutionalizing rural development in regional schools and agencies with the mandate and commitment of improving human conditions in the countryside.
